An update from FTSP about our response to the current Coronavirus situation

At FTSP, our top priority is the health and well-being of our staff, clients and contacts as the COVID-19 outbreak continues. We are following the guidance of Toronto Public Health, Public Health Ontario and Health Canada; and we are:

  • Working from home. We are encouraging our staff to work from home, and we have canceled in-person meetings as of today. We continue to work with clients, colleagues and contacts remotely to ensure the same level of client service that you have come to expect from us.

  • Increasing our sanitation procedures at our office. As some staff will continue to work from the office, we have made sure we are keeping a safe distance and using hand sanitizer and disinfecting cleaners much more regularly. In addition to this, we have been regularly disinfecting the reception area and meeting rooms.

  • Committed to our clients. While things are changing day to day, we are still planning for and working toward the current tax season deadlines. If and when CRA announces any changes to deadlines or policies in response to COVID-19, we will update you accordingly. Our online client portal is the best way to send us your documentation; and our online tax tools are updated for the 2020 personal tax season.

We will continue to work together to ensure that everyone remains healthy, and that your needs are met. If you have any questions, please reach out to your usual FTSP contact.

Sincerely,
FTSP
