Elaine Pantel has been named Vice Chair of the PrimeGlobal North American Board

We are very pleased to announce that Elaine Pantel has been named Vice Chair of the North American Board of Directors of PrimeGlobal, one of the top five largest international associations of independent accounting firms, of which Shimmerman Penn is a member.

Elaine serves as a member of the North American and World Boards, and fulfilled the role of Treasurer of the North American Board for the past two years. She is the first woman to sit on both Boards.

As Vice Chair, Elaine will step into the role of Chair of the North American Board in June 2018.

Maj-Lis Vettoretti, Managing Partner of Shimmerman Penn, noted that this appointment will strengthen our firm's global reach. "Elaine's role as Vice Chair and then Chair of the North American Board of PrimeGlobal means Shimmerman Penn will benefit from even closer ties with other member firms across the region and internationally, as well as continuing access to best practice and benchmarking information to help us stay ahead of the curve for our clients."

Elaine is thrilled with the appointment: "I'm honored by the support of my fellow Board members and excited to have the opportunity to take on a leadership role to shape the direction of PrimeGlobal's future strategy and continue the successes of this top-tier association of independent accounting firms."
