It's no surprise that April is a very busy month here at Shimmerman Penn. With our partners and staff putting in extra effort, we like to keep the atmosphere fun and take short breaks when we can.
Tax season bingo
Throughout the month of April, one tax-related word per day is announced. Any staff who fill their cards with five across, down or diagonal win a prize.
Fun Friday lunches
Each Friday we order a group lunch from a local restaurant and eat together in the boardroom.
Tax Games!
Once a week during April, teams are formed to play games such as trivia, races and brain teasers. Teams are different each week, and the winning team always gets prizes.
Kristen P reads the question, and Romy and Scott square off; Kristen P reads the question for Elsa and Evelyn while Mark looks on.
And of course, once the hard work and long hours are behind us, we all look forward to our end-of-season Tax party!
