Shimmerman Penn was proud to participate in Second Harvest's citywide campaign to become "Second Harvest Heroes" in February. Second Harvest is the largest food rescue organization in Canada and a global thought leader on food recovery. For every $25 raised during this fundraiser, Second Harvest is able to rescue and deliver enough food to provide 50 healthy meals for those in need

Our fundraising goal for February was $1,500 and thanks to our partners' and staff members' efforts and generosity, we have reached our goal through online and cash donations. A number of staff ‘purchase’ the right to wear jeans for the whole month by donating $75, an incentive that helped us reach our goal.

While the main drive has ended, we continue to sell raffle tickets for a few weeks as the draw is at the end of March. Thank you for supporting Second Harvest and helping to make Shimmerman Penn Second Harvest Heroes!
